I have always been enamored with food since I was young. Luckily, my husband was an importer and we traveled often in other countries. I saw how the indigenous people ate what grew around them. It was sustainable and integral to their health. This inspired me to find out more about regional cooking. I found it fascinating and wanted to share that with the world, or at least people who come on my programs.
